supporting development of young people since 2017

In semi-independent supported accommodation, teenagers are typically provided with their own living space or shared accommodation. The housing arrangements are safe, secure, and equipped with the necessary amenities to meet their basic needs. This creates a stable foundation for their growth and development.
One of the key aspects of this type of accommodation is the individualized support provided to each teenager. They are assigned a support worker or case manager who acts as a mentor and guide throughout their stay. These professionals offer personalized assistance, monitor progress, and help teenagers set and achieve goals. They also coordinate with other service providers and community resources to ensure the teenagers receive the necessary support and access to education, healthcare, and employment opportunities.
Safe, Comfortable Accommodation
Our accommodation reflects our commitment to providing a secure and nurturing environment. Each young person is offered a personal room, complete with a double bed, wardrobe, smart TV, and bedside cabinet – a space they can truly call their own. To encourage communal living and shared responsibilities, residents must share bathroom and kitchen facilities with their peers, reinforcing the values of cooperation and mutual respect.
Building Trusting Relationships
One of our core responsibilities is to build trusting relationships with all the young people we support. Trust is the cornerstone upon which we construct our support system. Our commitment is unwavering – to nurture a sense of trust and understanding, so each resident can flourish and reach their full potential.
Community and Safety
Lyndrose is more than just a place to live; it’s a supportive community. We have a staff member available 24/7, ensuring that assistance and guidance are just a call away. For added security, our premises are equipped with a comprehensive CCTV system that covers both front and rear areas as well as communal spaces.
Embracing Diversity
We recognize that young people come in all shapes, sizes, and with a rich tapestry of views, beliefs, and life experiences that have moulded them. Our residents are wonderfully unique, with a wide spectrum of backgrounds and aspirations. Some arrive with a clear sense of purpose and independence, while others may face challenges, including basic life skills and navigating trust issues. At Lyndrose, we honour these differences and embrace the opportunity to make a positive impact on every individual who walks through our doors.
Personalised Support
Central to our service is the concept of personalised support. Every young person in our care is assigned a dedicated support worker who functions as both a mentor and guide throughout their stay with us. Our support workers are seasoned professionals with years of experience working with young people. They excel in forming meaningful connections, cultivating trust, and addressing challenging behaviours. With their expertise and unwavering dedication, we ensure that each resident receives the tailored support they require.

I enjoyed my time at Lyndrose very much the manager (Sharon) is a very lovely person and cares a lot about the children there. I would definitely recommend a lot of children coming here. The carers are amazing too very respectful and helpful. They will take you places if you ask too. Lyndrose is a lovely place to live at and so are the staff. The house has a lovely environment and it feels free to move around.
